Calculate arrival at the crossing first

Your pickup time marks the beginning of the journey. Packing the car, leaving a residential estate and collecting another passenger all affect when you reach the border. For an evening booking, write the date as well as the time, particularly if the crossing could happen after midnight. An aircraft landing time is also too early to use as a confirmed airport pickup time.

The Immigration Department lists Shenzhen Bay passenger and private-car clearance from 06:30 to midnight. The Lok Ma Chau road crossing opposite Huanggang operates 24 hours. Lok Ma Chau Spur Line closes at 22:30. Check the full control-point name and any temporary official arrangements when matching a crossing to your schedule.

Confirm which crossing the assigned car can use

Ask the operator to state the expected crossing, direction of travel and contact for any route change in your confirmation. A shorter road on a map does not establish that a particular cross-border car may use it. The operator needs to check the vehicle arrangements; passengers should not have to work out vehicle-permit applications for a booked chauffeur journey.

Make clear whether you want a car that crosses the boundary or a local drop-off at a passenger terminal. Describing the request only as “Futian crossing” can create confusion with a rail connection. If your time or destination changes, request an updated route and price.

Agree where to reunite after passenger checks

Before entering the inspection area, have everyone’s documents accessible and agree who will assist children or anyone who needs help. Follow the instructions given for passengers and luggage. The Shenzhen authority’s Huanggang guidance includes arrangements for passengers to leave the vehicle; a private transfer does not provide an exemption from checks.

Choose one contact person and ask for the drop-off point, the meeting landmark after clearance and a backup contact method. Explain mobility or wheelchair needs before confirming a vehicle. Any special inspection arrangement remains subject to the officers’ instructions.

Finish the plan at the correct entrance

Your journey continues beyond the control point. Provide the entrance where a vehicle can actually stop, especially at a large campus, gated estate or hotel with several driveways. The last address affects both the remaining road journey and where the group unloads.

A useful request follows this order: date and pickup time; pickup pin; required arrival time; destination entrance; passengers and bags; assistance needs; proposed crossing. Compare the reply against those details and check official notices again on the travel day. This gives everyone a shared plan to follow. Keep the updated details with your booking confirmation.
