How to use the official Canton Fair app to find exhibitors and plan meetings

Use the official Canton Fair app to research exhibitors and products first, then turn only accepted appointments into a visit plan. On site, check the current stand and navigation. Keep a separate, short itinerary for your hotel, colleagues and outside-venue pickup: a search result or saved supplier is not a confirmed meeting.

Trip planning essentials
  • Download through an official channel and use product keywords to identify possible exhibitors.
  • Saving a supplier or building an itinerary does not mean that supplier accepted an appointment.
  • In-hall navigation does not choose a legal car pickup point, hotel address or border crossing.
  • Keep a shareable travel sheet with the date and source of each key detail.

Search from the product specification, not a vague company wish list

The organiser’s app page describes exhibitor and product search, e-catalogues, messaging, itinerary planning and booth navigation. The 140th-session buyer information also describes current website and app sourcing services. Enter a product type, material or essential specification. For each result, check its phase, product description and business identity. Narrow a broad search with requirements; if a search is empty, try a recognized product synonym in another language before concluding that no relevant supplier is present.

App menus change, so this guide focuses on the buyer decision rather than a sequence of supposedly permanent button labels. After research, your candidate sheet should have the company name, relevant product, phase, current stand if published, contact and question to ask. If several colleagues search independently, agree how to name products and merge duplicate supplier records before you send messages.

Convert a promising listing into an accepted appointment

Instant messaging, electronic cards and matching tools help start a conversation. A saved listing or a proposed time in your own calendar does not reserve the exhibitor’s attention. Send a short request with the product and essential specifications, your intended visit date, available time windows and party size. Ask the supplier to confirm the stand and contact person. Until it replies, mark the meeting as tentative and keep a flexible gap around it rather than building a rigid cross-hall route.

At the venue, recheck the stand before following a route

Before leaving for the complex, open the organiser’s map for the appropriate phase; then reconcile the live app information with posted directions on arrival. The organiser describes booth-level navigation, but indoor positioning, connectivity and suggested routes should not be treated as infallible. Ask on-site service staff or message the supplier if a stand reference is unclear. If one conversation runs long, tell the next exhibitor promptly rather than silently carrying over a timetable that no longer works.

After each visit, record the product model, unresolved quote conditions, contact person and promised follow-up date. If you leave with samples or more papers than you brought, consider how they will be carried and where hotel luggage sits in the route. Do not assume the hall will store them. Save essential details in a place your own team can access if an app feature or data connection becomes unavailable.

Give each supplier a status before sharing the itinerary

A long list of saved app results can look like a full appointment diary even when nobody has replied. Give each company one of three states: candidate when its product seems relevant, accepted meeting only after it confirms a date, time and stand, and visited once you have recorded the questions and follow-up. Add the date of the last update and a colleague responsible for the record. When two teammates search in different languages, compare the company name and stand before treating apparently different listings as two separate suppliers.

This small status discipline changes the travel plan. Only accepted meetings should constrain the route. Candidate suppliers can fill spare time if the team is nearby, but should not determine a rigid vehicle departure. After a meeting, record any product model, test requirement, sample ownership and quotation question in the buyer workspace. Share only the information that a carrier needs: an outside pickup point, agreed time window, onward address and group contact. Supplier prices and negotiation notes do not belong in a transport message. If the app, account or data connection is unavailable during the fair, a dated copy of the accepted-meeting sheet gives your colleagues a practical fallback without pretending that a stale screenshot is live venue guidance. Refresh that copy after a changed stand or accepted time, and mark superseded versions so they are not forwarded by mistake.

Our car service covers the city journey that an app itinerary cannot

The app can lead a buyer to a stand, but it does not confirm a Hong Kong pickup address, Guangzhou hotel stop, group rendezvous or onward supplier visit. Once those details exist, ask our exhibition transfer service about the actual cross-border or local leg. If a full day involves several accepted off-site appointments, compare day hire with single transfers. Include the number of passengers, bags and all stops in the enquiry form, then obtain written vehicle and quote confirmation.

We are an independent commercial transport provider, not the Canton Fair app or an official partner. App booth navigation does not grant a driver access to a hall doorway; the outside meeting point still needs to be agreed under the day’s rules. When a meeting changes, update both the shared buyer plan and the transport request so the driver is not working from an earlier itinerary.

Frequently asked questions

Does finding an exhibitor in the app confirm a meeting?
No. Ask the exhibitor to accept a specific time, stand and contact method before marking it confirmed.
Can app navigation be sent to the driver as a pickup point?
No. Booth navigation and vehicle stopping are different. Confirm an outside pickup under current traffic management with the carrier.
Do I need a plan outside the app?
Keep a brief shared record of dates, accepted stands, contacts and off-site addresses so your party can handle updates.
